About Baljoran

Baljoran Defense Industries was founded in 2025 with a straightforward premise: defense software should be built by people who understand both the technology and the operational environment it serves. Too much defense software is built by teams that are technically capable but operationally disconnected. We started Baljoran to close that gap.

We are headquartered in the Commonwealth of Virginia, near the Hampton Roads defense corridor, one of the largest concentrations of military installations, shipyards, and defense organizations in the United States. This proximity is deliberate. It keeps us close to the operators and engineers whose problems we work on and whose feedback shapes our development priorities.

As a small business, we occupy a specific niche in the defense industrial base. We are small enough to move quickly, stay technically focused, and avoid the overhead that slows larger organizations. We are experienced enough to understand how defense acquisition works, how to navigate compliance requirements, and how to deliver systems that integrate into existing operational environments.
